Attention should be paid during the running-in phase:
1. Too fast line speed will generate too much heat and make the saw teeth dull or knock out the saw teeth.
2. Feeding speed that is too fast will cause tooth punching or band saw blade breakage; if the feed speed is too slow, the pressure will be insufficient, which will harden the material and accelerate the wear of the band saw blade.
3. Excessive tension will cause the saw band to break; insufficient tension will damage the saw band or cause cutting. It is recommended that the saw blade be tightened slightly above the specified tension force than below the specified tension force.
4. Poor operating environment of sawing machine or uncorrected band saw blade wheel will also damage the band saw blade or shorten the service life of the band saw blade.
