The full English name for cold sawing is Circular Cold Sawing. Its core principle is that during the sawing process, the heat generated when the saw teeth cut the workpiece is carried away by the chips (sawdust), keeping both the workpiece and the saw blade itself cool; hence the name "cold sawing."

This is completely different from friction sawing: friction saws rely on high-speed rotation and friction with the workpiece to generate high temperatures to "burn through" the metal, while cold sawing is a true "milling" type of cutting.

Equipped with a TCT (tungsten carbide tipped) or HSS blade, it ensures clean, burr-free cuts with excellent dimensional accuracy. The machine features a heavy-duty cast iron base, an adjustable cutting angle (0–45°), and an automatic material clamping system for enhanced safety and productivity.
