The way the band saw blade is broken in:
The new saw blade must be run in before formal use. The service life of an unbroken or unbroken saw blade is 1/3 or less of that of a well-broken saw blade.
1. The feed amount during running-in is 20-30% of the normal feed amount. It is gradually upgraded to normal cutting within 2-4 hours. Each increase in the feed rate and belt speed should not be too large
2. The run-in period is about 5-10% of life expectancy.
